Simplicity

While "HOPE" will always be my favorite word, "SIMPLICITY" will be the word I live by, or strive to live by. I find myself wanting to purge. I'm tired of "stuff". I want to rid my life of clutter, both internal and external. I want to really examine where I am in this life and what is really important to me. I think it is good for the soul to do a reality check. Thus, the focus of this art journal page.

Simplicity:

1: the state of being simple, uncomplicated, or uncompounded

On another note, while "cruising" the Internet last night, I came across this great site. I have added the tag to the right, "Be Brave." Check it out.

How synchronistic that I read your post today, for I have been thinking about posting on the topic of simplicity. We have so little simplicity in our full lives today. Come visit in a few days if you want to see my thoughts on that topic. My blog is called "simple studio journal" because I do like that concept of simplicity.

simplicity sounds like a beautiful call for the new year, one that can carry you through for many more to come. the pages you've been doing in your journal reflect this call. just enough and so lovely that there is no need for more.
